Some of the art students chose to participate in memorable event called This I Believe. A teacher in our high school was inspired by the National Public Radio Program. She brought the book and many ideas to our students to encourage and challenge them to write, or create art, about something in which they believe. The evening at school was powerful and moving. Although only a few art students spoke at the event, many were represented by showing their expression through their artwork.
