Perspective Cities

In this art project Art 1 & 2 students learned about the concept of perspective drawing. Although each student was asked to create a city-scape using a vanishing point and a combination of horizontal, vertical, and orthagonal lines, all of the final products were very different. For some students, this was a favorite type of drawing and for others, it was a real challenge.

Ribbons and Hands

Students in Art I & II completed realistic drawings of their hands. Each student used different types of shading to create depth, roundness, and textures. The ribbon across the center of the page helped to show the illusion of depth on a 2D surface. Everyone did a great job. You can see these up close in the FCHS Library.
